CHARITY EVENTS - CHARITY AUCTIONS UND RELIEVE PROJECTS

Next to my work at the "Katarina Witt Foundation" I am getting involved with the ”Lau­reus Sport for Good Fo­un­da­ti­on”. Since 10 years more than 40 sports legends as for example Se­bas­ti­an Coe, Franz Klam­mer, Edwin Moses, Nawal El Mou­ta­wa­kel or Mark Spitz are the core of this foundation. ”Sports for Good” attends to problems of young people as for example social marginalization, force of arms, discrimination and integration into communities. Many projects are advanced worldwide.
I am the patron of ”Kick on Ice” here in Berlin.

Just to name a few of the projects of the past:

- “Ad­opt-A-Mi­ne­field” a relief project of Paul Mc­Cart­ney’s ex­ wife He­a­ther Mills

- “Ein Herz für Kin­der”
- “Tri­bu­te To Bambi”

One of my greatest passion is modern dance, which for me is a congenial connection between physical peak performance and artistic expressiveness. My Love to contemporary dance is the reason for my commitment to LUCKY TRIM­MER Dance Performance Series. After their formation in 2004 I am supporting this young project, which is a constant platform for ambitious and established choreographers in Berlin. The luscious LUCKY TRIM­MER shows, in which the choreographies with a maximum lenght of 10 minutes are shown in a really quick sequence are meanwhile cultic in the dancing scene and if it´s possible I am certainly part of the audience.
